No, and it could not do that anyway: the dashboard is a visualization layer, not a management system. It connects to your existing ERP, MES, or PLCs to show the data you already generate, but it does not create production orders or replace those systems. If you do not yet have something capturing orders, downtime, or quality on the floor, that is when a full production system like the one we build for manufacturing makes sense.
Yes, in the large majority of cases. Because the dashboard only reads data and never sends instructions to a machine, the work centers on identifying which protocol your equipment speaks — OPC-UA, Modbus, or an already-installed historian — and choosing the read path: a direct connection, an intermediate gateway, or a quick-capture screen when the equipment is too old to expose its data.
Three factors drive the quote: how many lines and shifts you want to visualize, how many distinct sources need connecting (ERP, PLCs, sensors, spreadsheets), and whether part of the capture will stay manual. Because this is only the visualization layer and not a full management system, the scope is usually narrower than a complete production system; we confirm it with a discovery session before quoting.
