Order and Patient Intake

Register the patient, the ordering physician, and the requested tests in a single form. The system automatically builds the required tube and sample list based on the requested panel, without relying on front-desk memory.

Barcode Sample Traceability

Every sample gets a unique code from collection through result delivery. At any point you know which area it is in, who handled it, and how long it has been there — cutting down on lost samples and patient mix-ups.

Analyzer Interfacing

We connect the system to your analyzers using the protocols the industry already runs on (HL7, ASTM), so results flow straight from the instrument into the patient record with no manual entry and no transcription errors.

Result Validation and Release

The lab director reviews and releases each result from a panel built for that workflow, with the patient prior-value history on screen to catch meaningful shifts before a result goes out.

Critical Value Alerts

The system automatically flags out-of-range critical results and triggers an alert so the lab can notify the physician or patient right away, with a log of who made the call and when.

Online Result Delivery

Patients download their signed result from a dedicated portal, or get it by email or WhatsApp the moment it is released — no trip back to the lab, no calling in to ask if it is ready.

What is a LIS, and how is it different from generic office software?+

A LIS (Laboratory Information System) is built specifically for a clinical lab workflow: order intake, sample traceability, analyzer interfacing, and result validation. Generic office software might handle your billing or your calendar, but it does not understand the life cycle of a sample or connect to your instruments, so you end up running duplicate processes outside the system.

Can it connect to the analyzers I already have in the lab?+

In most cases, yes. During discovery we review the brand and output protocol of your instruments — typically HL7 or ASTM — and build the matching interface so results flow straight into the patient record with no manual entry. If your equipment uses an uncommon protocol, we evaluate it before committing to a timeline.

How do patients get their results?+

You choose the channel: an online portal accessed with a folio or personal account, automatic email delivery, or a WhatsApp notification once the result is released. In every case the result only goes out after the lab director has validated it.

Does the system help with Mexican clinical laboratory regulations?+

The system is built to support the controls a Mexican lab needs to operate, such as NOM-007-SSA3-2011 on the organization and operation of clinical laboratories: full sample traceability, a record of who processed and who released each result, and a backed-up patient record. Actual regulatory compliance still depends on your internal processes and your responsible staff — the software is the tool that supports those controls, not a substitute for them.

Is a custom LIS better than an off-the-shelf one?+

It depends on your volume and how standard your operation is. An off-the-shelf LIS can be enough if your processes are conventional and you do not need specific integrations. If you run particular equipment, have agreements with clinics that need their own workflows, or have processes a packaged system does not cover, a custom build gives you full control over how your lab runs without paying for features you never use.
