Custom Medical Software for Clinics and Medical Practices in Mexico

Running a clinic or medical practice means juggling patient records, appointment schedules, prescriptions, billing, and patient communication—all at once. Off-the-shelf systems rarely fit the way your practice actually works, and manual workarounds introduce errors, delays, and a poor patient experience. At AISDC we design and develop custom medical software that adapts precisely to how your practice operates.

How we work

1. Discovery and diagnosis

We meet with you and your team to thoroughly understand your specialty, patient care workflows, patient volume, and current pain points. We document real requirements—not assumptions.

2. Design and validation

We create prototypes and screen flows that mirror your practice's experience. You review and approve everything before we write a single line of code, eliminating costly surprises down the road.

3. Development and integration

We build the system in short cycles and share continuous progress updates. We integrate the external services you already rely on, such as CFDI billing, payment gateways, or WhatsApp for appointment reminders.

4. Launch and ongoing support

We train your staff, migrate historical data if needed, and take the system live. After launch we stay with you: maintenance, feature improvements, and technical support whenever you need it.

What it includes

Electronic Health Record (EHR)

Record, retrieve, and update each patient's complete history—background conditions, allergies, diagnoses, lab results, and clinical progress notes—all in one place, accessible from any authorized device.

Appointment Scheduling

Manage your appointment calendar with views by physician, exam room, or branch location. Patients can book online and you control availability, appointment durations, and visit types without relying on phone calls.

Prescriptions and Clinical Notes

Generate digital and printable prescriptions directly from the patient record. Progress notes are linked to the corresponding visit, keeping the clinical history coherent and fully auditable.

Billing and Payments (CFDI)

Issue CFDI electronic invoices that comply with SAT requirements directly from the system. Track payments, apply discounts, manage accounts receivable, and generate revenue reports for your practice.

WhatsApp Appointment Reminders

Send automatic reminders to patients via WhatsApp before their appointment. Reduce no-shows, improve the patient experience, and free your front-desk staff from confirmation calls.

Practice Dashboard and Reports

See your practice's key metrics in real time: consultations completed, revenue, cancellation rates, new vs. returning patients, and more. Make decisions based on your own business data.

Use cases

Solo Practice

A general practitioner or specialist working alone needs a lean system without unnecessary complexity. We build a compact solution covering records, scheduling, prescriptions, and billing—designed so the physician and one receptionist can operate it without friction from day one.

Multi-Physician Clinic

When several specialists share spaces, exam rooms, and administrative staff, coordination gets complicated. We build multi-user systems with role-based access, independent schedules per physician, and a central administrative view that unifies the clinic's entire operation.

Multi-Location Network or Dental Franchise

Networks with multiple locations—such as dental franchises or clinic chains—need operational consistency and centralized visibility. We design platforms that standardize processes across all sites while allowing each location to operate independently, with consolidated reporting for management.

Frequently asked questions

What is medical software or an electronic health record system?+

Medical software is a digital system that centralizes the clinical and administrative information of a practice or clinic. The electronic health record (EHR) is the core of that system: it replaces paper files with a digital history for each patient that includes background conditions, diagnoses, progress notes, prescriptions, and lab results. Unlike a generic system, custom medical software is built to reflect the exact workflows and specialty of your practice.

Can the system be built to comply with Mexican data regulations and applicable standards?+

Yes. Because we build your system from the ground up, we can design it to align with the guidelines of NOM-024-SSA3—which establishes requirements for electronic health information systems in Mexico—as well as with the obligations of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. This includes role-based access controls, audit logs, encryption of sensitive data, and proper patient consent management. We work with you and, when appropriate, with legal and regulatory advisors to ensure the system actively supports your organization's compliance posture.

Does the software include appointment scheduling and automatic reminders?+

Yes. Appointment management and automated reminders are standard capabilities we include. The scheduling module lets you configure availability by physician or exam room, visit types, and durations. Reminders are sent automatically via WhatsApp, SMS, or email—whichever channel you prefer—at the lead time you define. It is also possible to allow patients to book online directly from your website or a dedicated link.

Does the system handle CFDI electronic invoicing?+

Yes, we can integrate CFDI electronic invoice generation directly into the practice's billing workflow. The system connects to an authorized certification provider (PAC) to stamp receipts in accordance with SAT requirements. This lets you issue, send, and store invoices without leaving the medical system, keep the patient's payment history linked to their record, and generate revenue reports for administration.

Is custom software better than an off-the-shelf system?+

It depends on your situation. Standard systems are a reasonable option when practice workflows are straightforward and the software fits well without significant workarounds. However, when you have specialized workflows, need to integrate specific services, manage multiple locations, or find that generic systems force you to adapt your way of working to their limitations rather than the other way around, custom development is the better long-term investment. With a system you own, you have full control: you can evolve the software as your practice grows without depending on an external vendor's roadmap or constraints.
